Dragonfly provides a number of tools for modifying datasets, which include image stacks, regions of interest, and multi-ROIs. You can crop and sample datasets, invert and reorder axes, convert image data to any supported primitive type, as well as modify image spacing. These operations are available from the pop-up menu for objects listed in the Data Properties and Settings panel. The option to analyze the slices within a volume is available in the 2D View pop-up menu.
Dataset Tools panel
Following are the primary tasks that you can perform with the Dataset Tools:
Dataset Properties… Basic information about a dataset, as well as the opportunity to modify parameters such as image spacing and position in space, are available in the Dataset Properties panel and the Advanced Dataset Properties panel (see Dataset Properties).
Crop… You can crop datasets in the Dataset Cropper panel to remove unwanted parts of image data or to help simplify segmentation tasks (see Cropping Datasets).
Sample… You can modify sizing in the Dataset Sampler panel (see Sampling Datasets).
Invert… You can invert data in any axis, as well as change the order of axes when they are read, in the Invert Dataset panel (see Inverting Datasets).
Convert… You can restructure image data for different processing and analysis needs in the Convert Dataset panel (see Converting Image Data).
